G'day all! Thought I'd finally introduce myself! I've been lurking here for ages, having finally decided on what boat to get in January this year. Was a bit hard, as I've never had a boat, or known anyone with a boat. I'm a keen fisherman, but am pretty crap (and looking for some tips too!). I'm a South Aussie originally, and fishing over on the east coast is a little different (more fish, Adelaide is so overfished unless you have a boat). After much indecision, I finally decided on a Stacer Nomad, which suits me just fine. Thanks Craig (up at Huett Marine) for doing a good deal, and giving good advice. She's a 429 Nomad, with a 25hp Johnson 4st. It'll be coming up to you for its first service soon. Its been a great boat so far, I've taken it up the Hawkesbury, over to sow and pigs in the harbour a quite a few times, even caught a few fish! Forgot to tighten the bungs only once (the guys that shouted out to me near the marina at Drummoyne, I'm so grateful!). No damage done (luckily). Give me a hoy if you see me out! Cheers, Pauley
