150lb and thats fine for kings dollys and small marlin but as said above i would upgrade line to 200lb or 300lb if your after marlin 100kg and over cheers gary

mate i tell everyone who is chasing there first stick face go with the hope that you see one ,if you see one its a good day ,get a hook up and its a great day,land one and its the best day off your fishing life
it's still very early days for the marlin run with good numbers hopefully showing up soon the only thing that could off helped was a switch bait if you had time,do a google search for ballyhoo rig[gar fish] learn this way off rigging a swimming gar and always have a few rigged and ready to go
stripe marlin will somtimes stuff around with lures but a swimming gar will do the trick most times

were back but now i need a holiday to recover great fishing great crew but not so great weather for fishing wide
ray will update soon but i can say long tails go hard on light gear and there was no shortage off sharks with a newbee andy getting a real work out and my knee is now stuffed from tracing cheers gary

i think the grade off ally is very important for example
i had a 10mm thick section lazer cut for stewy to fit an electric to his polly craft
i asked the lazer cutter to use marine grade ally as it would cop salt water spray every time stewy went fishing,with in 2 years the plate looked like puff pastry now this was strange being ally on plastic it was clearly electrolicis[sorry for the spelling lol] now the only way this can happen is two ways or a combination off both,1;;;crapp aluminium 2;;; earth leakage we did use stainless bolts the plate was acting like an anode on a plastic boat wtf
anyway we replaced the ally plate with 316 stainless plate in 10mm that should sort out the problem in stewys case o yer sorry stewy for dropping the ratchet in your hull glad you got it out cheers gary

fishing warriewood; we used to fish the cliffs right above were you fished there are rod holes and its a good spot to fish in a big swell best time is during a big southerly blow or just after you need a good cast to clear the reef a snapper lead
some very nice snapper caught there just before dusk on a hight tide best bait fresh squid cheers gary
