Taking the boat out on Saturday through Pittwater with some lures out see if i can find a kingy or a nice tailor. Will most likely stay o/night with the full moon, maybe join in on the chasing jew action around Juno. Not sure if the will allow that though....

Yep it would have been the leatherjackets. Where abouts were you fishing? Anywhere near Currawong/Mackeral? There's a heap of leatherjackets around there at the moment. -Dave. oh... and See you in Pittwater!!

I agree with you iain. minutes is in 100ths and seconds is in 60ths. The conversion must divide into 60 like you said. Even so, the actual difference in position couldn't be much more than a couple of boat lengths

Sorry for digging up old posts but there should be an option in the menu to change the coordinates configuration with an option like what you need. This should fix your problem. -Dave

Hey peahead, I recently purchased a 23' Bertram after months of searching and contemplating between the 23 and 25. It came down to two things for me - cost and maintenence. There are a few 25s around under $40k but are usually older with original engines. Be wary as you could be up for reconditioning or new legs etc which is more money and also osmosis as was mentioned. 25 is definately a larger boat with almost 2 foot additional beam. This comes at the price of two motors taking up more space too though! EIther way, you are buying a well known make with excellent sea abilities.
