  1. Hi guys, Im currently running a 2004, 90hp Johnson two stroke and was wondering what the best solution to reducing fumes would be? would a top of the line Oil such as the XD-100 make much of a difference to reduction of fumes? Is there another additive that can posibly be added into the fuel? Can anyone suggest anything else? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou Allen (chewsta)
  2. haha no problem at all mate. thanks and good luck with it. Allen (chewsta)
  3. Hi mate, I also have the X125 and find it to be a very capable unit, for example we fished the Banks off the Shoalhaven this past easter weekend and we had no trouble finding fish, bait or bottom wether it was flat, reef or other. Some parts of the areas where we fished jumped from 100ish metres deep up to only twenty and back down again so it was used over a wide range of depths. Hope this helps. Allen (chewsta)
  4. Hi Slinky, Mate, Im a graphic Designer and I do a lot of freelance stuff on the side for some extra cash for myself. if your interested I could do something up for you based on your ideas, Im sure we could come up with something pretty kickass. after you approve it I can supply it to you on CD in any format you need to have it printed. If any other Raiders are also interested in anything like this just let me know and i'll be happy to help out any way possible. By the way Mods, I hope im not out of line at all, if so please remove this post. Cheers Allen (chewsta)
  5. Mate, I was down at Greenwell Point over The Easter weekend too and the same thing happened to me over near Comerong Island. Little Sand fly's everywhere, half the size or even smaller of your normal mosquito. sometimes you would feel the bite but mostly not. we were bitten all over from the knees down as we only had shorts covering our bottom half Lucky we had long sleeved shirts on aswell and that kept them off the upper half of our bodies. we also never entered the water so it wasnt anything that was just in the water. The itching didnt start till later that night but its driving me crazy and my legs are nowhere near as bad as yours look. Ive been using "Stop-Itch plus" cream and it works. BUT to apply the cream you have to rub it in which aggrivates the itching for a couple of minutes till the cream numbs them. So my advice is to get the Stop-Itch SPRAY!!! Good luck with it, im feeling your pain, or should i say itch! Allen

    Where To Go?

Hi guys, Im making some changes in my boat, adding switches for bait tanks etc and also need some re-wiring done for my nav lights and DC outlets, so my question is... Where is the best place to have this looked at? as ide rather not tackle this job myself. Im in the Penrith area, so would like to get it done as close to home as possible but wasnt sure if there was someone any of you may know in the area that does this type of work or should i take it to a boat yard or an Auto Electrician? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all. Allen

    Bait Tanks?

Hey Meth, Had some luck this morning, found a place in Penrith that deals in Live stock Produce, horse feed, bird seed etc, they have some of those round bins with screw on lids, they used to hold Chlorine tablets originally the guy said. They have 40-50litre ones for $9 and 200 litre ones for $25 (thats a huge bait tank!!) For those interested the number is 4736 5375 and they are on the Northern Road Penrith area. Anyway hope that helps. Cheers Chewsta

    Bait Tanks?

Hey Meth, Mate im also on the lookout for a similar thing for a Live Bait tank, had a look in Bunnings today actually, no luck though, they pretty much just sell square storage tubs, not real good for live slimeys and such. One of the boys from work mentioned seeing some in BigW, so i may go for a hunt around there tomorrow, allthough he is known to talk a bit of jibberish. I will keep you posted. Do you think maybe somewhere like Clark Rubber or a Pool shop may have them? just a suggestion.. cheers, Chewsta...
