Thanks mate. There are quite a few Santuary zones and especially around toll gate island so I steered clear of them and head north to Durras. I got the fish near wasp Island close to Durras. It seemed the only options for Batemans' bay, are either head north of south of it. The boat is a Formosa 520.

Hi guys.. Had a camping holiday over xmas on the clyde river.near batemans bay. Got into some breams and whiting but not in big numbers. Probably lack of skills in that style of fishing. Decided to launch at batemans bay and look around. first time fishing this area. found some reefy area and flick some gulps. Got a good take at first i thought it was a king. but happy to see red. my cousin and I ended up with a few snappers for xmas dinner.

You are very lucky to be working at the river everyday. You must have time to wet a line very often? Are the Hairtails in the usual bays in summer?

Thanks mate.. We got about 24 other videos on the channel that were shown here before. Just have to make a conscious effort to capture the footage during the day. Then It took 2 hrs to edit and put it together. Helps if you are really familiar with the editing tool. No worries Wizza. Thank you Sir. Not much..just 2 go pros..one logging the day and 1 adhoc for closeups and underwater.

Guys.. Weather was decent on sunday went out chasing Snapper. Saw bluelabel and met up with Dtrojan at some marks. He was on fiire! Both of these guys did very well. I did ok and I made a video of the day. We end with 6 Snappers a.mowie and some odds and sods. Here is the video.. thanks to those who voted ,berkley and Fr for the prize and as you can see I used a lot of the gun berkley soft baits.

check the tag on the tranducer cable to identify transducer model and set the sounder to match that model in settings.also change the sounder to deep water mode
