Hi Raiders, Just a quick report on the fishing trip with my Mate George this morning. Went for a qiuck fish with my mate today and ended up catching a few Flatties, one which we released because we guessed it would be a female and it should live to reproduce more for us next time...lol., a descent snapper, a rock Cod, and a descent size chinaman. It then died out so we head back and trolled, which ended up with one Bonito,. Over all it was a good days out. Cheers LALA

Hi Russ, i was down there a week ago and spoke to your mate" the local guy" your taking about. We spoke for a while and just about the noise and rubbish that these bloke where making and leaving behind. I took the kids down there to catch a few squid for bait, but where told to not fish here and go over the other side by these blokes, soo i left instead of making trouble, thats when i meet your friend and spoke to him for awhile. Its people like these that reck everything for descent people and will conitue to get places closed down from fishing. Cheers LALA

Hi Raiders, Came home from work yesterday and the kids are bored , so the wife suggests that i take them fishing for a few hours. . Great idea i said...lol. so i got them ready grab the gear and head to my favourite wharf. Got there and the wharf was full as always, got the squid lures out and tried catching a squid, not til a hour later that i got a tiny little thing... threw that out and it got pecked by something lillte... Threw out a yakka fillet and half an hour later BANG landed this descent size lizdard Took a few pics with it and release it back ......for another days fight.... Cheers LALA

Hi All, Just a quick write up of this mornings trip to the Gong. Got there at 6am on the dot and the weather was great for abit of a spin... The first cast bang on my first Bonito, secong cast bang on another, and then my two friends arrived and the fishing was on fire with bonitos going off. Ended up catching a nice salmon to end the day as the wind started to pick up as predicted...end of the day a great morning session Heaps released as well Here are a few pics of the catch... Hi Raider. This morning the kids where driving the nuts so she begged me to take them out for awhile..lol What better thing to do but to take them for a fish...OOOOH yeah. So i grab the gear went and bought some nippers and head to brighton. Set the rods and first cast for my younger son and he was on his first ever flatty..The older ones starts screaming ive got one ive got one while i was unhooking the first flatty, but when i turned around snap goes the line on the oyster shells... . The younger son was on fire. the next one he caught was a whitting, then came the little bream. the older one then hooks on to something descent and the line goes off ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ i had to ive him a hand and pulled up a great size trevally, . he then ended up catching another little bream, the wind picked up soo we head home... It was a great little session. Cheers LALA
