  2. Penn Slammer should be what you want.
  3. It's Sole, the cousin of flounder.
  4. This is outback. It's a little bit heavier than revolution, but revo is faster a little bit than outback. Outback is more stable than revo. That's a hard choice to choose which one for yourself. Pro is too heavy that lifting on the roof rack when you are alone. I have a outback and some guys do offshore works using more revo than outback.
  5. G'day. I am wondering where can launch kayak/watercraft at Cottage Point. Before being there and only found a public wharf can be accessed in public area. It looks like the other places are private and can not entering. Could anybody indicate me where is the boat ramp at there? Thanks! Cheers, Seager
  6. Any lure can not beat live Yabbie! But all the fish eat yabbie, so that is some noisy with lots of pickers.
  7. I believe that was sharks in the most times.
  8. Yes, I believe that was a shark or ray.
  9. I had this problem either. After first time fishing, it was rusted inside and could not find where it leaked.
  10. I experienced this either and just boring thew plastics for waiting big fish passing it. Most time bait fishing now, unless trolling or sure fish is there.
  11. I got hammerhead almost all times inside pitterwater. Only one time caught a 60cm rat. Glad to hear others pointing where to find them. I also head out again this Thursday to try my luck.
  12. I'd never buy any rods or reels from online shop. They are not cheap even more expensive than brand one. The quatity is crap too.
  13. Yesterday I go to SP fishing. After retrieving, I found SP was biten by LJ or somethings and only left a little bit on hook. Changed places and same thing happened. How do your guys deal with this situation, any tips? Thanks!
  14. My leader was also broken by a fish before. I open the reel's baitrunner and when the second run was started then all silence. I rolled line and found leader was cutten. Maybe some sharks?
  15. Hobie kayaks are also very stable. I have another Hobie Lanai and it is quite stable likes my outback. Previously I had a Australis Squid and not too happy with it.
  16. sport is about 2200 bucks. Outback and Revo are 2400-2500. You have to increase your budget or buy a seond hand one. Good luck!
  17. Thanks Jewhunter. I would not continue to worry about it and hope that fella saw this post although he told me he had fished many years.
  18. I thought it was Manly one, haha. So many shelly beaches arround Sydney...
  19. G'day! Today I were fishing at Bobbin head for some garfish and yellowtail. When I left, an old man came here and told me my fishes were illegal. I told him they were garfish and yellowtail not small tailor. He checked them then said yellowtail must be alive. If they are dead, it is also illegal.(Forgot to bring air pump so one of three yakkas was dead) I told him he was wrong but he insist on it. Well, I understood the fish guide that poddy mullet must be alive as live bait but not other bait fishes. And someones filleted yellowtail as butterfly. If likes that man said, it should be illegal. Could anyone help me figure out whether I were wrong or he was? Thanks!
  20. If you can get gun bait(like yabbie, squid or other live bait), they are much better than SP when fishes are there. Most time I put the rod on the holder with bait and play a rod with SP or squid jig on hand. That makes me always so busy and have more chances on the other rods.
  21. You maybe can try deeper water that will get big one. Last week I and my friend went out, I used 1.8 jig along the shoreline and caught some small ones. My friend used 3.0 jig just 10 meters away from me and caught 3 huge monsters(body were more than 30cm).
  22. Today I saw a article said that squid can grow 1.5mm/day. It's very fast. Last week I caught a squid same as my 1.8 jig and let it go. Why can we not give these tiny squid more chance grow up? I don't think it is worth to eat. Are you just use them as bait?
