Good report bad luck on the big flattie,some of my best fishing trips was when i was young with my dad. You did alright last night i went to a few jewie spots late last night for nothing not even a run or a shark. Cheers jewieslayer

I have left the bung out in my tinnie years ago,what i did was fire up the donk take off give it heaps of curry get the boat on a plane water will drain out then try and put the bung in. cheers Jewieslayer

In the rain you get all spots to your self, I have great results with jews in the rain.I think the jews feel safer and become more active in feeding and will feed in shallow water under the cover of rain. Cheers Jewieslayer

Hi all last night decided to go for a fish,First fish was a salmon,tailor a few shovel nose.Then on my last livie my alvey starts smokin line peelin off.One big long run then i felt the old head shakes and a few min later i have this nice jew on the beach.tonights dinner was great love me jew cutlets on the bbq and a few The jewie went 89cm could not post pic,cause it was video on my phone. When the tailor and salmon are around i use surf poppers so they dont destroy my jew bait.

There is a place on the highway at tempe that do perspex,I did all my windows on my old boat it cost 90 and some new ss bolts

The old nauti glass not a bad boat.When i was a lot younger and we had family holidays down lake conjola we would take the nauti glass and pack it with camping gear,bikes,Well cut a long story short. All the weight in the boat made the centre roller on the trailer punched a hole in the hull.Easy fix so from then on did not over pack the boat never had any over problem.Another thing they all leak water in the hull from the battery well after rain.
