  1. hello fellow raiders! just yesterday, a friend of mine and their family told us that they were going to lake illawarra they asked us where to collect bait for fishing i told them about where to get green weed and small live fish but not where to get nippers and bloodworms if any raiders out there could tell me a place/location with sandflats with nippers/worms. any info would be greatly appreciated, and since i have a pump, it'll be info for me as well thanks again for your educational info
  2. i think the turn of the tide is the change from a growing tide to a dropping tide and the opposite? other fishraiders may be better at explaining
  3. oh, i thought there was no gate i thought that only applied for the southern breakwall
  4. sweep, as A.dawg said, are actually quite useful as bait, many species including bream, trevally, snapper and possibly Kingfish will take sweep fillets or live small sweep. i have caught some smaller trevs and smaller snapper on sweep strips. the eating qualities though, are not very good

  6. for people who wants to catch that fish, they don't catch that easily for people who doesn't even know the name of the fish, they catch it with ease maybe i shouldn't target particular species anymore great jewie there

  8. great sesh there well done on doing the right thing and ringing fisheries it seems though that most waters of sydney have at least some degree of pollution
  9. the royal national park is nice, donno if camping is allowed but the fishing is great and undisturbed
  10. bad luck, but tell us WHAT WAS THE SECRET BAIT!!! and... can it be applied to other species

  13. probably some sort of koi from the chinese gardens that escaped or something they are worth some money (when alive), few 100 at most

  16. hi all just went by the local tackle store and got a brand new bait pump cost $37 supposed to be cheap? thats another hole in my pocket! now i have to find some grounds. help would be appreciated though around lake illawarra thanks, cheers industry
  17. The smaller the fish, the more jucier, tender the meat. clean and dusted in flour deep fried pests serve with deep fried brick!
  18. I went on google maps and saw on the satelite some weed green stuff around the entrance of mullet creek is that it? havn't been there for a while hope to go this weekend
