mate im sorry for 'lying' about how good this place is but i dont think you have to catch a fish to make a place good....clifton is beautiful and very easy to fish.... you say you arrived at sunset and fished untill 7.40...thats 2 hours my friend and only 10 minutes after the tide turned, if you get the shits after only 2 hours of fishing i dont think fishing is for you...be patient and chillax maybe its better if you keep that attitude away from the gardens anyway.... peace pags

Mate i see plenty of blackies swimming around at clifton gardens....ive seen 5 caught there in 3 weeks on weed and the people that caught them were only there maybe 2 hours before sunset....the only problem is finding weed around the place....ive looked everywhere and i only found some scrapings from the westerly point which is about a 30 minute walk cheers pags

Ive been trying out the squidgy rang of sp's in the frostbite and carrot colours for the last 2 weeks or so without any results....i was starting to lose confidence in them until i read this report and now i just want to catch something on an sp. Do you fish with sp's where you would normally baitfish.....? cheers pags
