Nicho
I have also seen a Garmin Etrex Legend for $255 is this one worth the extra $55. Im looking at getting one this afternoon if anyone could shed some light please. I dont know much about this particular unit, but I have gotten the a more expresie Garmin unit and its gold.. Just one tip, make sure that it has a "plotter function", I had one GPS that showded you direction to travel and course etc etc, but had no plotter.. so in the end it would get you near the place, but then you had to use the lon and lat to get you exact on.. Probably a good idea to see if you can load maps in it for the future as well, as the GArmin maps are pretty accurate and very hands to have ( but they cost $'s!!) good luck!!
