kiwifisher
Hello Raiders, Yep im another new member, been reading posts for a while now and feel it's about time to contribute. Spent most of my fishing life in NZ with plenty of success. Im the lucky owner of a 4.5m quintrex fish'a'bout (1979), does the job but def not an outside boat. I frequent Botany Bay and sometimes Sydney Harbour, my Jew fish cherry has been broken but its a whole different world over here. Fishing is tough and requires persistence. Hopefully I can add some posts and help some other Raiders out, as I would have been lost without the tips I have received from this site. If you see an old quinny with an old suzuki on the back, come over and say hi....

Penguin
To the site Kiwifisher, I grew up in the land of the long white cloud also, and first started fishing there as a youngster in and around Wellington. Being of greek descent meant that I was around fish and chip shops constantly, and had an endless supply of bait and burley. Fishing was just about an everyday thing for my mates and I. Now live close to Botany bay and usually fish there. Will keep an eye out for your boat, mines a 5m 2004 Quintrex coastrunner, with 75hp Mercury 4 stroke. Will look forward to your reports. penguin
