nathan74 Posted October 6, 2006 Share Posted October 6, 2006 Headed out from sylvania ramp about 5am to get a tank full of yakkas. Got a dozen in about half hour which is a change from the last few outings. They have been abit hard to get of late. We then headed to a spot just outside the heads and sounded around to find a nice bump. We started the burley up and within half hour we had a few kings and a big dam school of sweep at the motor. got 3 kings all of which where just undersize and a few pj's, one of which i got on a jig. (was excited for the first second or two) all in all a nice day out. Did the same thing yesterday but started out chasing a few salmon for fish cakes. got 4 within half hour casting lures at them. we then headed out to try our luck on some grouper with red claws.
