Can I Fit A Downrigger On This Boat?

Can't see why you couldn't fit a downrigger on that boat. There are many many solutions. Everything from a gimbal mount, rail mount, deck mount...etc. Only have to look through the scotty web site to see all the attachments that you can use. I use a gimbal mount and works great. I've got a gunnel mount for my scotty depthmaster 1050 (nice downrigger!) and you could set that up on your transom or your side gunnel (near your blue tie down strap in your photo). Very easy!! I'd go for the gunnel mount on the side for easy access!!

If you want to know how to get a cheap downrigger pm me (no commercial interests here!) The gunnel mount cost me $100 but is really heavy duty.

was wondering if a downrigger while fit in these spaces on the pics below the space it around 10-15cm away from the rod holder will it be enought to fit a downrigger?

yeah buddy u can fit a DR there perfectly,

i have EXACT same thing as u and i ended up getting a swivel mount for it..

i will take some pics tomorrow and post them up so it should give u a idea with what to do with urs..

have u got a DR yet??
