Fishing In Noosa

Hi all,

Heading to Noosa in the not so distant future for a holiday and was wondering what species to target landbased in and around the Noosa area....what are the common species ,and what gear is best to take up ?

I was going to take a baitcaster with 30lb braid, plus a light spin with 10lb braid and a mix of metals, hardbodied and soft plastic lures with me.

I will be going out on a charter and probably hire a boat for a day too, but most will be landbased.

Any info much appreciated.

I was hoping more for for jacks and trevally......oh well, fingers crossed....
