Guest AO7474
PERFECT, EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS DESIGNED FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
pjbink
The trouble with the Charter Special is that the level wind tends to trap and cut the braid. I ended up wrapping dental floss impregnated with supa glue around the top bit and aralditing the metal cover to the plastic on the lower half of the level wind guide. Sammy0884
Ditto, they are a great reel, there is nothing on the market that is anywhere near as versatile, damn i with they made a new one with a metal body and an infinite anti-reverse! although shimano would never sell another small overhead
domza
i just bought one 2 months ago and so far so good. I have livebaited, trolled and bottem bashed with it and its a great all round reel. I put 80-100metres of 10kg mono backing on and the whole 300yrds of 30lb fins on it.
