Port Hacking Last Night / This Morning

Not saying you cant land bigger kings on that tackle , but ive seen metre long kings cruise past me in the hacking at a landbased spot I fish, and Ive been drilled on 10kg and 15kg outfits....a lot of obstacles such as moorings, and oysters....if you give any drag you're a goner, hence my comment about the 4000 reels. On a boat if you're in the clear, it wont give you an issue, but if something the size of what ive seen comes along...letting it run will get you into trouble.
