blue marlin Posted February 2, 2007 Share Posted February 2, 2007 Went for a fish this afternoon with a mate who just purchased a brand new tabs got to love plate boats. Anyway headed for yarra bay for some livies no luck no burly no jigs, herd him say nothing but plastic on my boat! Even tried cutting up some burkley shads but no luck. Looked out towards henry head where there was a heap of birds working the surface pulled up and two casts latter a healthy king of 70 cm then nothing for another ten minutes saw heap more birds just outside shakeys reef.headed straight for them KINGS EVERYWHERE First cast another king 65 cm then after that a hole heap of followers how frustrating watching them swim up to the boat and not take a thing tried for another hour with the same result :1badmood:oh well theres allways tomorrow.
