whats the go with that half fish.????? looks like something hungry put his mark on it...

or is that a genuine cut, and my eyes are just stuffed :1prop:

good old carlton draught, not the greatest on tap but certainly worthy in the bottle form!

you should enter it in Fish of the Month

:tease:

I think it's a cleaned leatherjacket..ie: without his head and skin from what I can see.

Agree about the Carlton Draught...better in bottles.

Pete.

was thinking of heading out of the hacking today for my birthday but the dam wind came up

couldnt head out sunday as everyone came over

always next time,.... maybe thursday im off

any kings around?

havent got 1 this year

Got one three weeks ago, usually the big fish turn up around april.

Only king iv got at merries was 59cm and didnt pull anyline off my reel using 20lb mono, caught in 90 foot.

Where its sandy flathead head are pretty much a gaurenteed capture there.

cheers james

Yes there are alot of rat kings mixed in with the occasional bigger one...alot of squid in the bay makes the chance of getting one better:)
