Penguin Posted March 27, 2007 Share Posted March 27, 2007 Hi Raiders, Was doing some mods to my boat today at Rose Bay,when I got a call from Jewiejoe,he was on his way to Clifton Wharf so,My mate George and I couldnt resist, so we drop tools motor over to Clifton and meet Joe and he jumps on board with his squid. We head over to the Wed cake and try out his squid,we were getting our baits peppered by pickers most of the time, it was frustrating We had a couple of missed strikes on bigger fish but that was about it. Then I peeled a prawn and let it out and zzzzzzzzzzzzz,a small King comes to the boat and is released.We land a few Bream and a Leathery before its time to go as George had to get to work.We drop Joe back at Clifton and head for home. We had a quick 1hr sesh and were happy with that,we were not properly prepared not much bait and no berley,but was nice to meet Joe and we had fun. Just interested sorry to be painful were maritime constructions still tied up onto the remaining cake, sounding an vidieoing for underwater signs of waer/tear on supporting beams? I have always been a believer of catching only the ones that are legal and also not keep everything you catch ...
