robeebee Posted April 3, 2007 Share Posted April 3, 2007 (edited) My dad and i went out on Monday to check out some reefs and wrecks off the south head met Swordfisherman and his mate at the ramp couple of good blokes there and ready and willing to give advice anyway , we headed out and found Big Saigon and dropped a couple of patternostas Bang' before mine had hit the bottom it was off sideways and going back and forth for all of 10 or 15 seconds then, busted off what a great feeling though , i couldn't stop shaking for a while don't know what it was , maybe a kingie? dropped again and we got into mourie wrass , sweetlip , red rock cod and pinkies. then decided to head out a bit and do dads favourite deep drift for flatties got a few nice ones but then the wind changed to a N /easterly and we decided to head in slow trip back that was got back inside and it was real calm but my dad had had enough sorry no pics i forgot my phone going on hols for 2 weeks this friday so i'm sure i'll have a few more reports till then good luck Edited April 3, 2007 by coollamon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
