Central Coast Pig Fishing

hi raiders,

I have just moved to Terrigal (last week end) on the Central Coast and was wondering if any one can point me in the direction of a couple of reliable drummer/pig spots close to my area.

Hi Ads,

I grew up on the coast but in sydney now.

One of the most regular spots i found pigs were on the rocks at bateau bay. About 2/3 of the way along the rocks on the southern end is a land slide.... just fish the bigger points from there out towards crackneck point.

You should do alight mate, lots of nice wash areas.

P.s .. Look into south avoca also mate, always a few surprises found there.

The small rocky outcrop at the mouth of the entrance fishes well on a run up tide and towoon bay is also worth a shot. The rocks just to the south of norah head lighthouse is also a great drummer and groper spot but only fishable in slight seas with plenty of burley.

you dont even have to go that far. the front of the skillion and north avoca gets them regulary just watch the swell

Agree with Djmac,

Skillion can fish well but the ground swell comming in can be a B@$CH at times. U fished much at forresters rocks Dj...?
