bobfish
i don't use it on my hardbodies as they have a splitring swivel thingy I remove the rings completely and replace them with the loop knott. I might be kidding myself but i feel it makes the hb look more natural. i.e. no lip piercing!

Nathan L
i can't remember the last time i used a loop knot it just seems so awkward to me - but then again i'm a bit fastidious when it comes to knots the only knot i have used for leader - terminal connections is the uni knot you can make the uni knot into a loop by tying it normally, and when you have a loop the desired size, lock the knot by pulling on the tag end. its a bit tricky to ger right but if you practice a bit you'll get the hang of it when you lock it properly, the loop should stay there without slipping thats what works for me, but i spose like it is with anything else, you should use what you feel most comfortable with. jewgaffer
i like to have a mediterranean centuri knot pulled down onto the eye by the fish so i lube the line and the loop with tuna oil as i bait up to prevent any weakness caused by friction. the slipping of the knot onto the eye sets the hook solid i find that way easier than retying a hook. jewgaffer
stylo
FYI I use a clip which I tie on to my leader which then clips to my jighead. That way I can have all different sized jigheads to cast out until I find the right one for the conditions / day. This = less time wasted and more time for fishing
