Look at the Pec fins,tail and dorsal.

Especially the caudal fin - the fish that Mark caught featured a truncate or emarginate caudal fin, whereas the bass groper has a clearly rounded caudal fin. Also, the radials in the pectoral fin of the fish that Mark caught decrease in length from the uppermost edge downwards, whereas the pectoral radials of the bass groper increase then decrease in length to support a more rounded pectoral fin structure, as opposed to the more filamentous pectoral fins of Mark's fish.
