Hi Raiders,

I was sitting at home bored Sun arvo, so i decided to take the boat for a quick

lap of the Harbour,I set off around 3.30ish, did my lap while doing my best to

avoid all the yachts that were out.I found myself over at Nth Head and couldnt

help myself, I pulled up, cut the engines and grabbed my 3kg outfit and threw

an sp around for a bit while drifting.

I managed a 63cm King on my 2nd cast and thought how good is this, I nailed

a 34cm Snapper and a 32cm Trev in the following half hour before I was plagued

by some XOS Sweep, they were fun and faught hard while reeling them in but such

a disapointment when I got them to the surface and saw what i had

Got sick of them so I set off for home with my feed.

Nice work for a "oh well might as well go fishing" kind of session!!!!

Just curious what kind of soft plastics where you using???? I got reefed by something pretty good at the yellow bouy near north head a couple of weeks ago on a white stick bait but apart from that havent had to many hits!!!!! Probably the tradesman not his tools i think though!!!

What no peeled prawns ??? :074::074:

Nice work for spur of the moment let's go :1fishing1:

those 3" pearl minnows are good gear

Chris

No mate no peeled prawns,

I wasnt planning on going for a fish so I didnt buy any bait,If I had bait

I would have continued to fish till it all ran out.I cant help myself :biggrin2:

I kinda had it in the back of my mind that I may have a quick sesh if

the mood kicked in,and there are plenty of sp's and other types of

lures on board the boat.

Yeah, nice one mate!

I just love you and MallacootaPete.

You with your bloody quick sessions and Pete with his boring days on the Lake.

Both of you catch more fish in 5 minutes than I do on an overnighter! :1prop:

You two should try fishing without hooks for a day.

I figure that we would then recieve a bloody quick,........... boring report :074:

Nice report Penguin, mabe there is hope for me yet! :biggrin2:

I might give the old safety pin and a bent nail (sharpened of course) a shot next outing and see how that goes.

Matter of fact...work just called and cancelled me for today...guess where I'm headed?? :1prop:

Be back later with another "quick session" report. I'll take my camera this time. (always guarantees I won't catch anything)

Cheers,

Pete.
