tiger_shark
Fish deep holes... make sure you have a sounder and go exploring. Fish seem to concentrate in the deeper parts due to fresh water sittig on top of the salt. Give cowan a try. Goodluck.
Breambo22
There should be plenty of bream and flathead in the lower reaches especially with the smaller tides at the moment. Flint & Steel could produce large jewfish. Chicken gut will be the best bait for bream. Breambo
mark*
i'd chase bream in places like the vines, pumkin point and bar point. using a very smelly bait which is needed as there is very little visual under the water. but the rain will definately put fish onto the bite as lots of food gets washed into the water and fish come onto the bite. regards mark Edited June 11, 2007 by Mark_17

fishyfingers
stinky rank bait is definately the go! zenman and i hit the beach last night. had fresh squid, mullet and stinky pillies ... you guessed it, servo pillies went off. nothing to write home about but pillies were smashed as they hit the water. got a few good bites taken out of them by what looked like large tailor but no hook ups. ah well, live to fight another day i guess!
