Places To Fish In Newcastle?

I'm going up to Newcastle for work next week and was wondering where some good spots to flick some SP's might be, especialy in the arvo's.

Any help would be appreciated.

What area are you going to be at ?

There are some Newcastle guys that drop in here

that should be able to help

For SP I guess Lake Macquarie - Swansea or Hexham

or Dora Creek will you have a boat or be LB

Don't know the area well but on my schedule it has Terrigal, Tumorah, Toronto, Windale, Lemontree, Umina Kilaben Bay.

Will all be land based

i would definately try swansea, big tailor to be had there at night especially. and even the odd winter king around the bridge pylons.

Yep Swansea channel is a great spot to start

Newcastle Harbour is ok too up near the Nobbys beach car park depending on the tide - haven't been there for a while tho
