Jewhunter
Right in the middle of the eclipse right now. It's lasting longer than I expected. Hope you all have as good a view of it as I do up here. I'm going for another look. Cheers, Grant.

mrmoshe
In today's SMH. Cliff death shocks eclipse crowd A MAN shocked eclipse watchers by hurling himself to his death from a NSW cliff where people had gathered to observe last night's lunar phenomenon. Police are seeking public help to identify the man, who committed suicide at Newcastle's Strezlecki Lookout car park just before 9pm (AEST) yesterday. Members of the public who had been watching the lunar eclipse reported seeing the man climb over a barrier and jump off the cliff top. The man's naked body was found a short time later on a rock ledge about 50m from the cliff top and 15m from the water line. Conditions have hampered efforts to recover the man's body and it is anticipated another recovery attempt will be made later this morning. Police are not treating the man's death as suspicious. However, officers are seeking public help to identify the man.
