I'm not sure where you get it Marty, but I think it's polyethylene.

Look up "Cut to Size Plastics Pty Ltd" near Fairfield I think??? They might be able to answer your questions

HI RAIDERS, WOULD ANY ONE KNOW WHAT THEY CALL THE WHITE PLASTIC USED IN CUTTING BOARDS AND WHERE YOU CAN BUY IT FROM.

i just obtained some for a cutting board for me i just refered it

as that teflon stuff they knew what i was refering to any

kitchen cupboard manufacturer has contacts for it

a factory over in wetherill park deals in off cuts i got mine 800x 400 by 40mm thick

for $25 bucks so its reasonably priced and much better than you would get at a department store

i am sure someone on here will be able to post the link for you

if not i could chase it for you if you get stuck....

Hey marty if ya want cheap cutting boards try a Hospitality warehouse, these boards about 15mm thick by 2ft by

2ft so you can just cut them to fit wherever you want them with a jigsaw.There about $14.00 if i remember.

And they also come in a range of colurs from white,blue,red,green.I knocked off the old ones from work when they were replaced.
