The Entrance

Hi all,

I'm looking to maybe go up to the entrance next tuesday or Monday and am wondering about some good spots there as I have never been there.

I will take my big rod but also am ooking about throwing some plastics around.

Any ideas about places and bait would be greatly appreciated.

Target species : whatever there is

Also if some one would like a ride up there for a fish pm me as I may have a spot depending on which day.

hi mate

u can fish the drop offs in the channel for flattys n bream

fish the beach gutters near the channel for jews

around the bridge if ur in a tinnie is a good place to start

but i usally go land base

climb down the wall on the south side off the bridge onto the storm water outlet

then just walk the drop off using plastics or bait

For land based, there is also that little jetty under the bridge - walk from the northern end (Dunleith end) & go down the steps to the jetty. I reckon there would be some bream & flatties hanging in there as well as blackies!

Also seen good fish brought in from the little wharf area to the right of the bridge there

good beach to fish!!!!!!!! probly the only beach i have consistantly donw well on!
