Penguin
The 2nd one is a Sgt Baker, Bearable eating qualities for some. The 3rd looks like a Flatty, hard to tell in that poor quality pic. Edible if its a Flatty. 1st one no idea. penguin Edited December 8, 2007 by penguin
frangkie
thanks in adv sorry for the quality of the pics and this second one is a sargent baker, not the best on the table, too many bones. the others not sure can't see them properly.
dpinta
I think the first and the third are the same fish, it looks to me to be some kind of carpet shark. A photo out of the net would help........

Blackfish
First one is a Blind Shark.
jewgaffer
The first one is not a fish at all. It's the second stage of an armpit transplant. jewgaffer
southerly
The red one is a sargent baker, nice while flesh but way too many bones to be usefull. The other (two?) look like blind sharks or small port jackson shark. The port jacksons are protected and possibly poisionous anyway and the blind sharks arn't much good either. Better luck next time. Steve07
None of them are worth having in a keeper net, there all better off being thrown back. lots of other better quality fish to catch & eat out there! cheers mate
freshpoint
thanks mate, after some research it seems like a baby nurse shark, but now more seems to be a blind shark, which would live out of water for quite long, I'm about to release it now...
