Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 (edited) I know this is an old thread but as its in a section which people refer back I'll add this to the warnings-an acquaintance molded up some lead ballast for his boat. Hes been married a couple of years and they have one kid, but after some tests his doctor has them told NOT to conceive another child for at least a couple of years due to high levels of lead in his system. This causes learning disabilities in children. His missus is pushing 40...... You can probably imagine how impressed she is with the situation. Plenty of ventilation, wear gloves and toss your clothes afterward if your still having kids-its not worth the lifetime of guilt and wondering if your young fella is less than sharp cos of what you might have done.....
