Sydney Harbour 11/02

Got a good supply of livies and tried downrigging Dobroyd, North Head, the Colours, Shark Island , Rose Bay, lost a couple of livies and some squid but caught nothing,

Tried for flathead in the harbour at the end but only got small reddies.

One of the slowest days I have had for a long time.

Might have done better if the squid or calamari had been a bit more plentiful.

g-day i had one of those days recently when i thought i was going to brain it. i think its the fishing gods reminding us who is boss. better luck next time.

Myself and brother in law were out yesterday ,had a good day on the kings had to work for it though (downrigging every spot we know of ) didnt get a touch on pint sized yakas , squid did the trick , the water is so discoloured, and temp has dropped , I wasnt expecting much.

didnt see to many other boats landing kings like usual.

though When we were cleaning our fish at tunks , a small did tinny pull up out jumped two blokes with 6 kings (nice ones to) all caught on squid they said.

Better luck next time cant wait till it clears up.

ahhhhh some days you win and some you dont.

at least you got out on the water....i spent the day at Tafe would have swapped you any day

I spent the day arguing with shitty subbies... count yourself lucky. I agree with the squid comment though.
