suprisingly got the weekend off... ...very rare when you work in a kitchen plan to do a bit of lure shopping and hopefully get to some of the blue stuff...see how things go.

Went to Iron Maiden both Sat and Sun nights and all i want to say is It was simply sensational. Any raiders here who are fans and didnt go you missed an awsome show. I realy hope they come back again soon!

ahhhhh some days you win and some you dont. at least you got out on the water....i spent the day at Tafe would have swapped you any day anyway good luck on future trips mate!

credit to you Jewgaffer...you sound like a great role model to your grandson and and im sure you will enjoy plenty more great memories with him in the future. I hope when i finally have my own kids i can do the same for them and their kids. Ahhhhhhh i feel your pain....ive also had a longer holiday than most....quit my job couple weeks before Xmas. Its been nice having the time off but have spent it on a very tight budget which kinda suks! Anyway back to work for me soon too. Until then Ill enjoy a few more sleep ins and a few more of these

Gday fellas .... just wanted to ask yous how the fishings been going, planing to go tomorrow morning with a mate on his boat so just wanted to hear about what and where theyr biting... i havnt fished for bout 11 weeks and been o/s in that time....Oh and Ken you asked in my last post how the beer was? Gday mosh.. if its a tinnie your after Akuna bay marina do tinnies for sure, and i think you can get tinnies from Cottage point and the marina at Bobbin head, there all in cowan creek area. Hope that helps

Thanks for that NF! Yeah i read the post you put up a while back, i still havnt attempted any beach fishing as ive found a little rock platform and been goin there a fair bit, but hopefully soon. The only reason i posted my question is its always easier when someone shows you but thats ok i'll be giving it a go real soon. One other thing... is it easier to find the gutters at low tide or it dosnt matter?

mmmm I'd say just over $1000 a year just on gear, got plenty more outfits i wana get but gota watch the cash this year as im goin overseas. One other thing is i despretly need to get myself a boat. The catch is I cant keep one here at home so i have to go and by myself a bloody house so i can keep 1. now apart from the fact that I'll need a nice cozy home to live in with my girlfriend (future wife) i really only started to seriously consider my own home when the boat problem came round...sooo im goin to class it as a fishing expense
