Gamerod Posted February 23, 2008 Share Posted February 23, 2008 Checked weather on Thursday night and saw Saturday was going to be a no show due to 25 to 33 knot winds. So all the boys took friday off. Launched from Brighten Fisho's to Kurnell for 3 good squid and 14 yakkas'. Close fad we don't usually stop at but I pested skipper to have one shot. Live yakka goes out 5 seconds later with my fish at the back of boat there would have been 100 dollies just sitting there. The only problem was they were all small but above legal.(PS threw 15 back all legal) Charge out to far fad with every one ready to go. Out go's livies hook up evey throw. Twice as big as other fad. But the best fish of the day all went on fresh squid including a nice 15kg model. Then trolled for marlin for 4 hours, didn't turn a reel. We did not see 1 boat out on Friday. Looks like you got your priorities right Anthony and it sounds like it wasn't such a bad day. Problem with those dollies is knowing what size model is going to hop on. What gear were you using?
