Or do you just want to keep your livies alive at the house? 2 1/2" in and outlets sound to be quite large for a small bait tank. Have you got some pictures? 1/2" would be more than adequate for inlet, in fact I used to have a Marlin tank that had 10mm in, with a aluminium pick-up off the stern, and then 2" overflow for returning "stale" water. Give us some more ideas as to your application of this bait tank and I would expect that we could provide some more accurate advise. What are the dimensions - is it portable or permanently installed? harrold101
hey mate. i want it for my boat.. its wide14"x14" and 15.1/2" tall i was thinking of putting fittings on it that went from 2.1/5 inch down to a smaller size so not that much water is getting out and in. (i have pics but their to big) Edited August 20, 2008 by samythesamlon
King slayer
Hey Samy, There was a thread on this a while back with good info and pics. I suggest you search Live bait tank and check it out. Cheers, Dave

(i have pics but their to big) Hey Samy, It's just a bit smaller than mine, all I use is a garden hose connected to my pickup as Iam going along and another piece of hose from pump to tank when Iam stopped, put all your attachments above your outlet using normal hose fittings, another trick is paint inside tank black, as it gives slimy and yakkas a covert zone ,not too much light and they don;t bang shit out of themselves on the inside. Cheers Rick.
