pelican
Thought it was just me ? Like to see the board and leg rope as well becuase if it was me it would still have my teeth marks in it and a brown stain or 2. Could have happened I guess but my ol leg rope wouldn't take that treatment. Any witnesses or was it a ploy to get 60 minute to pay. Jeez the bloke should realise he isn't a British diver. Is he trying to scare off the school holiday surfers? Edited September 11, 2008 by pelican
andrew399
or perhaps a bit of publicity for the surf shop he works at, or just a bit of fame... or maybe he was smoking a bit of the funny stuff!
arpie
I think it probably did happen - the shark didn't have the cord in its mouth, just tangled in it, so no reason for it to actually be chaffed or busted. Because it is a 'stand up' board, the rope would be a lot longer than your standard surfboard. ALso there was the other shark incident off the wreck last year - so it wouldn't suprise me at all if it were true! Roberta
