Barnacle
Don't know what happened to the attachments - hopefully they are below. The first was the best we colud get of the jumps - digital delay meant we could only get the splash but chek the water colour! in the second I wouold apreciate input on the weight. I am about 76 kg so I reckon the marlin at about 90kg however one of my mates called it for about 70kg.

shane87
Marlin don't have the heavy bone structure that we do so they are usually lighter for the same length as us. Looks around the 60-70kg mark to me. Great fish mate well done. Cheers Shane.
Martin
Nice Marlin and going by the photo she would be in that 70 to 80 kg range. Most importantly they are great to eat and make some of the best fish burgers and cold fish sandwiches. BBQ or beer batter marlin is great to eat hot or cold. Anyway nice fish and well done. Hope its the beginning of many more to come Cheers
offtap1
That is a Black marlin and in photo i have only estimated your height at 1.8m and if so fish is 2.2m from lower jaw to fork of tail and should of weighed at around 100kgs. Blacks are much heavier in length than a stripe as you will see in the girth behind head. Anyway well done on the catch. Cheers dave
