Dreamtime
Here is the tranquility of Island Paradise. And here is the harsh reality of mother nature last week Cheers Mariner
Hodgey
The first photo is why I would love to visit Honiara The transformation in the second photo is amazing. A lot of power and hostility in that water Great photos Carl. Regards to the family mate, Ian
cat-as-trophy
On seeing the first picture, I thought, wow this would be a nice place to live/visit and fish. But on seeing the second shot, I think I have changed my mind. Cheers Mrs Flightmanager
arpie
Oh dear, Carl!! I think a lot of places are copping it just now - as I type, the sea is white with foam off Burgess Beach, with the waves smashing the rocks at the base of the cliffs. I fear we will lose our sand again! A few years back, it went to bare pebbles/rocks. Took a few years to come back! The good news is that my neighbour just went out to catch some blackies, as this is when they come in to find sheltered gutters to ride out the storm! He should bag out, using cunje! Hope no damage is done to those boats - the angle of the pic makes them look fairly close together!
