Missing Fads

A few weeks ago I heard that two of the three Botany/Port Hacking FADs (Sydney East, Botany Bay Wide and Sydney South) were missing and that Fisheries would replace them shortly.

Does anyone know if this was done? Also, with the big swells off Sydney this week, if they were replaced, are they still there?

Cheers

Peter

hi mate, i fished both the sydney east (next to the peak) and the botany wide fad last sunday. sydney east fad was dead with green 17-18 degree water. the wide fad was slightly warmer and had a few undersized dollies.

good chance that at least one of them has been lost due to the big seas though.

Thanks for that info.

Did anyone find the Port Hacking FAD last weekend?

Hi peterS port hacking fad was there sunday but it was very quiet. Your better off finding some fish traps we have been catching heaps for a while. Look at sunday dollies under fishing reports they were all caught there

Cheers Mike.
