robeebee
got on the water with Dad at Oatley bay around 6.15 and proceeded to Connells pt had a great drift going nice and slow in the perfect direction for once 4th cast with 1/6 th ounce jighead and a turtleback worm gets a decent run from a 30 cm Breambo , good start about 10 mins later I'm on again and its a better fish ,this is fun 38 cms a bit slow for a while then , zzzzzzzzzzziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggg my little 2000 Okuma is singing my favourite tune this fish is hanging in the current and feels like a good flattie how wrong could i be 41cms on 3 pound line Dad is yet to land a legal fish and I can feel his disappointment but all is good when this nice flattie slid into the net i get another good Bream then the wind picked up and the arse fell out of the barometer so we called it a day around 9.15 met up with fellow raider Rizzo at the ramp for a chat what a nice bloke and very knowledgeable a quick flick and a nice feed

jewgaffer
Nice bream there Rob they bigger bream seem to be closer to the bridges than further upstream Cheers Stewy Some nice bream there Robbie you certainly picked a good morning to go, a run in tide and a massive pressure rise out of the recent low front to just about the figure needed to liven up the normal bite..... Perhaps the bream autumn schools are starting to come in and hopefully the breeding size jewfish will also come in shortly and go up river and ruin your bream and flathead fishing ay Stewy? Cheers jewgaffer
