Blackfish?

Hi there raiders,

All those blackfishing reports is making me itch to try blackfishing as well.

Anyone heading out for a trip round about the harbour this weekend?

If so, do you mind a novice tagging along to pick up some tips of the trade?

I dont have blackfishing gear so would probably just be watching and learning.

If you put your suburb up in your "Profile", then FRs will know if they live near you & are more likely to make contact!

Initially, any bendy rod would suit, till you decide whether that type of fishing suits you ..... then you can get into the specifics later!

I never used to think much of fishing for blackies, but once I caught a few, using the techniques etc associated with catching one, rod bending while they duck for the rocks, couldnt be more fun. I dont fish for them on a large scale by any means, but when they are on, its not uncommon to catch hoards in a 2-3hr session.
