dirtyh
I've been a member for a while but this is my first post. Spent last week at Smiths Lake and spent a little time flicking soft plastics shore-based on the off chance the odd flathead might prefer my offering to the myriads of fresh mullet that seemed to carpet the lake. Two or three were foolish enough to take up the challenge and paid the price. Here's a pic of the best - not a monster by any means but at 45cm it made a decent meal. Just a holiday fisherman but still learning after 40 years of one of the great pastimes. dirtyh
mpreston55
Hi Dirtyh, Welcome. I have been to Smith Lake a couple of times and always had a great time and caught quite a few good fish as well. Nice part of the world. May you continue this great pastime for another 40 years. Jewhunter
to the site dirtyh. Well done on the plastic caught flathead. Be careful with the plastics. Once you turn to the dark side there is no turning back! Cheers, Grant.
