searabbit
G'day Raiders I went to SWR last weekend with a couple of mates Mick & Blake. Friday arvo we started off in the mackleay river chasin jews with herring, no luck for us but i weighed an 11kg model for a fellow angler at the boat ramp. Next morning we strugled to get livies so then we trolled skirts to fish rock & the FAD. picked up a stripy & mac tuna before havin some fun with the little dollies. We tried our luck for a jew again and Mick scored his very first. a nice 9kg model. Next morning after all the reports we headed down with every other boat to get some spotties. (52 boats) & us at grassy head & just about every one of them getting fish too. we ended up getting 4 to 4kg and dropping another 8. One last attempt at the jewies produced a 2.2kg mangrove jack for Mick. Cheers Brett

The Poacher
Very nice work Sea Rabbit. I would have been there the same time as you. Fantastic by catch in the form of a fat jack. You can improve your slow trolling hook up rate significantly by using a treble as the 2nd hook. Cheers The Poacher
