Well done buddy I caught an 18 kg one in botany bay back in 2006, your not wrong about putting up a great fight and they are very nice to eat. Dropped a bigger one around 5 to 6 pound a few years ago, and I saw 2 others caught on the troll around Lilli Pilli about the same size. chef gone fishin1 Posted April 26, 2010 Share Posted April 26, 2010 hi cobia must be around at the moment here is a cobia that went 69cm yesterday at 6.30 am plus 2 snapper to 63 cm all caught on plastics nth of syd harbour how good does the cobia taste much better then snapper?
