17P Prop Needed For Testing

hi guys,

putting this out there in the hope someone has a spare 17p 115hp yammy prop they are willing to lend for testing as i think i need to go down from 19 to 17 prop size.

if someone has a stainless one they want to offload then if it works i am intersted in buying it..

boat is a 1993 haines signature 530f with 115 yammy.

I have a 17" Honda brand prop on a V6 Merc but I don't think it will fit your Yammie V4, If you want find out if they are the same, if they are I'll lend it to you but Its not for sale . Have you thought of trying a 18"??

Roosterman, go onto the Solas web site and identify the prop size required for your motor, then have a look at the prop sizes for other motor brands. You will see that some props fit multi brand engines. For example, Honda & Yammie are the same spindle sizes etc.This may assist you - or other Raiders - in fulfilling your request.

Incidentally, I run a Honda 50 with a 13" prop and would love to borrow a 14" to test before I make an unnecessary investment, so if anybody out there is reading this and can help I would be appreciative.

seen a staino SOLAS prop to suit on online shop last night , didnt notice pitch , possibly 4 blade

my merc has honda prop supplied by solas,they also sent me a yammie prop for my merc but i did not like the white colour so most must have same shafts.
