hay guys

i was at kurnell rocks using pealed prawns and i suddenly caught a 32cm tarwine. its my biggest tawrine on shore yet. its a funny story, i was fishing not getting anything then i threw my rod out and went for a walk when i came back i started reeling my rod in and the it swam to me.lol...

Nice fish :thumbup: - tarwhine put up a great fight. I tend to find that for the fight they put up they would weigh a lot more.

Does anybody else find this the case?

I find I get most of mine on dusk or just after dark.

Tarwhine certainly go harder than bream. They are slightly fatter and taste good around 30+ cm.

Bream go plenty hard for their size, can't wait to hook a decent tarwhine now!
