Under Seat Storage

Hi Raiders,

I've been looking at modifying my front seats on my boat, instead of just a pole that sticks up out of the floor and bolts onto the seat i'm looking at getting some sort of storage box that the seat could bolt onto and still swivel or be like the picture below.

Any ideas, links or anything to help would be great, i'm not after a live well or esky in it, just storage and maybe a tackle bit with drawers, maybe even attached LED lights.

PS - bit of a tight budget so nothing to expensive at the moment.

I'm kind off limited in height to around 300mm between floor and where seat would bolt on.

Leo The box in the photo is made from aluminium but could easily be made from 12mm waterproof ply available from hardware stores. The plywood , hingers (stainless steel) paint etc are not expensive

They may not look all that big but they hold heaps of gear

The top is hinged for access

HI Leo, Like the photo Geoff showed you.

I made up my own two boxes and fastened my seats to each on swivel.

Cut a door in each you would not believe the amount of space.

I made ply frames and glassed them over.

Love the idea of using ply for the boxes Geoff, i've sent you a PM.

A lot of boxes I have seen are more for centre console or cuddy/half cabins and are to high.

Any more suggestions guys?
