still learning Posted August 14, 2010 Share Posted August 14, 2010 No offence to anyone above but do any of you guys live at La Pa?, all spots mentioned were good spots and will be again. However, at present the dredging has really had a bad effect on water quality around bear island and frenchmans (boat house), while Yarra Bay and the "sucko" haven't recovered from the big storms about two months back, no kelp = no squid. I'd try tyhe kurrnel side of the bay, I've heard there have been some good catchs that way, but anywhere near the new boat ramp has suffered from the dirty water at present.
