Ray R
Hi Raiders, I received a call from my mate John(JBisho) at 9 this morning to see if I was able to go for a fish this arvo, I said sure thing so a plan was hatched to go and get John some fish on plastics. John is relativly new to this and since becoming a Fishraider a month or so ago has been champing at the bit to get out for some fishing after readind the reports on Fishraider. So we launched at Pretty Beach and we headed striaght for Lobster Beach and the fish were there, all manner of finned critters ready to accept a plastic offering. I started proceedings with a couple of small flatties and after a little bit of technique refining for John he found a few fish himself which was very satisfying for both of us. Well there was no stopping John now, he caught his biggest ever flattie at 63cms and a host of smaller models most of which went back, we kept the 40-50cm size flatties for a feed an John to his credit let his big girl swim off. As the arvo progressed the fish also did, there were whitng bream and trevs all clambering to get on our plastics, it really was an action packed arvo. Midway through the session I scored a very healthy 76cm model she really put up a stink but eventually she was steered into the net and after a pic she was revived and off she swam a terrific felling to see our 2 larger ones go and produce many more.. So that was our day John had the best arvo he was stoked as was I to have such a great session, the tally for the day was 17 Flatties, 5 Bream, 3 Trevs, 1 Whiting and 1 Tailor.. Great day , great buddy and a top session.. SENSATIONAL...

I hope the influx of tourists doesn't detract from your fishing down there. Keep 'em coming mate! Great photos as always. Cheers Hodgey
